The factory management convinces Sayedʼs family to relinquish their legal rights in exchange of hiring both Hossam and Maro. The film begins months after Sayedʼs death, in Hossam and Maroʼs first day at work. The film presents their relation to Mustafa, who fears that Hossam has accepted to work in the factory in order to be close to him, and be able to avenge his father , while Hossam feels belittled because he has accepted this job as a compensation for his father ʼs death.
