El Bastardiya (Once Upon A Time In Tripoli) (In Development)

Tripoli 2020, a city is ruled by chaos and militias in the middle of a heated civil war.
Murad, a young jobless engineer, works instead as a salesman to collect enough money to migrate with his family to Germany. His father, a truck driver in an oil company, is kidnapped by the militants Waseem and Atiyah who demand a large ransom to be paid within three weeks or they kill the father. The family has no means to collect the ransom.
Murad meets with his friends (Salem and Ali), to figure out a way to either collect the ransom or to find the militia. The three find no other solution than collecting the money illegally in light of the surrounding chaos.
In the process, the destinies of the three friends diverge, as Murad is slowly transformed from ordinary young man into criminal and murder.
